Let’s apply the rules that we learnt from looking at the history of the race and add a few more, shall we? This gives us a list of horses that fit the overall picture of the history of the race. Next up, we take out the French horses (they never win), and look at their record at Aintree itself.

Friday’s tips for Cheltenham
Well, Thursday wasn’t our greatest day, although Pretty Star did redress the balance at the end with a fine second place, and we got this one at 25/1 earlier in the week. So all in all, not that bad. Wednesday’s Cheltenham tips
