£25 in free bets from William Hill - use promo code F25
So, £25 in free bets, and the best interface on the web for betting - what more can you ask for? We've been scouring the web for a top-notch bookie and while you can pick up free bets here and there, not many are in the same league as William Hill. For a start, you've got your sports in a top banner that is accessible at all times, you've got live odds as and when you need them, sports results in a tab (always handy, I think, with a bookie), and as I write, the delightful news that Aston Villa are beating Liverpool (anyone who beats Liverpool is fine in my book).
I've been looking ahead and William Hill are offering a whopping 5/1 against Sea The Stars to win the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in October. Now, I have always told you not to back Derby winners in the Arc, and I've always told you to go for 3-year-old French males... hit the averages and you're bang on most of the time. The only 3-year old French trained male I can find right now is Beheshtam and frankly, he's not all he was cracked up to be early season. A very disappointing defeat at Longchamp recently underlined the fact that he's no Hurricane Run - and 25/1 is fair enough.
So 5/1 against Sea The Stars, who may run now given that it's been a very hot summer in Paris and it will probably not get too wet between now and October (it generally doesn't, take it from a former resident), so the ground will be decent. Those are cracking odds against the best horse in the world by a long chalk. Fame and Glory is 4/1 and he's not in the same league. No other horse is in the same league.
We also have a sneaking feeling that the Mercury Prize might go to Friendly Fires, although you never really do know with those judges, they just seem to go all weird on us and just blurt out a winner on a whim, but they're a tasty 8/1 right now.
Those are just a few suggestions for you - the main suggestion of course is that you go to William Hill right now and get those free bets. Ace!
