So when it comes to watching celebrities get tortured in the jungle, I'm actually quite interested. Mind you, if any of them were celebrities, then that would be a start, but who the sweet crap is Joe Swash? I've never bloody heard of him. Anyway...

Joe Swash is bookie ’s 4/1 favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle in this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

The former Eastenders star heads the early betting with Esther Rantzen just behind as this year’s stalking horse at 5/1. Despite their looks the WAGs seldom perform well in reality TV shows and Paddy Power rates Nicola McLean as the 16/1 outsider with Carly Zucker performing little better at 12/1.  

Sharon McHugh, Paddy Power’s showbiz betting expert, said: “Joe ticks all the boxes with his happy-go lucky personality, outgoing nature and appeal to the ladies and is already attracting the early bets.

“He looks the one to beat although we do have a sneaky suspicion that, like Jan Leeming, Esther Rantzen could go far as the public’s choice as this year’s victim of repeated bushtucker trial humiliations.”

Meanwhile this year’s jungle “Totty Factor” rates page three girl Nicola McLean the unsurprising favourite at 10/11 to be the first girl to go topless followed by Carly Zucker at 9/4. Esther Rantzen is the cold-shivering 25/1 outsider.
