Cheltenham tips and a free £25 bet from Paddy Power
The size of Kauto Star's last victory has been called into question by the size of Madison du Berlais' huge victory over the same opposition. With Denman's form having taken an even larger slide, the 8/1 challenger Madison du Berlais is worth getting now before everyone else piles on. And if you go with Paddy Power (just click on the box to the right there), then you'll be guaranteed the best price - SP or the one you take.
Madison has already taken the Hennessy this year, and with respectable - if not amazing - Cheltenham pedigree, this is the horse to take if you're looking to oppose Kauto Star, who will have the backing to keep the odds down all week.
Voy Por Ustedes and Master Minded will both come in at such short odds, it's only worth it if you're going large, and in these times of recession, not many of us will be doing that. So it's worth looking around for better value - Fair Along is a decent 12/1 in the Ladbrokes hurdle, and is worth a little punt, even at each way.
The Champion Hurdle on Tuesday is a cracking way to start the week, and last year's runner-up Osana is currently 10/1 with Paddy Power. However, two horses at longer odds have caught the eye, including the steady Sizing Europe, and the underrated 25/1 shot Punjabi.
Also keep an eye out for Tom George's horses - they're all in great form at the moment, with Narcarat and Tarkat both demanding attention.
The £25 free bet is on offer this week - but go here if you want the bet 10 get 20 offer.
I'll be back later in the week with more tips, but in the meantime, get the guaranteed odds with PP and enjoy the week!
