Liam Treadwell shows off his new teeth ahead of Grand National

Pity poor old Liam Treadwell - you win a horse race - the biggest in the world, and then you have this brute of a woman telling the world you've got bad teeth. He's back this year on Nozic, and he's got new gnashers to boot.

Nozic hasn't raced since finishing ninth in the Welsh Grand National over Christmas, and doesn't look like he has much chance of winning anything at Aintree. However, many people said the same thing about Mon Mome last year, a similar profiled horse, at similar odds of 100-1. Will Liam Treadwell be smiling? With those new teeth, he might as well, win or lose.

Aidan Coleman takes over on Mon Mome, but a host of backers will be watching Treadwell and Nozic, the horse owned by Coral Racing Group, as winners of newspaper competitions will be hoping for a huge upset.

Coral spokesman David Stevens said: "We've bought Nozic as a promotion exercise and there will be ten shareholders by the time he runs in the race, five as winners of competitions run by Coral, with the other five shares going to The Sun.

"We all saw what happened to Liam 12 months ago, and we thought it would be great to give him the chance of pulling off another miracle result. Nozic is by no means a no-hoper and I'm sure Paul will ensure the ten owners enjoy a good time."

Is Nozic actually worth a punt? Well, Paul Nicholls has plenty of other horses in the race who are better placed than Nozic, but a fairytale is never out of the realms of possibility - especially at Aintree.
