Betting on I’m a celebrity…
Who the hell is Joe Swash? I’ve never heard of him and I doubt he’d even get a gig doing panto at Norwich Theatre. No, they’re not celebs. But still, they’re getting tortured and you can bet on them. So winning money AND seeing celebrities get tortured - bingo!

New Autralian cricket captain - Michael Clarke?
9/2 says that Michael Clarke will lead out Australia at Cardiff next summer - and Ricky Ponting’s hangdog face will not. Well, let’s face it, the Aussies were awful in India and they’re very much a side in decline, denied the likes of Warne and McGrath.

Can Harry Redknapp boost Spurs? Yes, but not against Arsenal…
Harry Redknapp will no doubt have a major effect on Spurs - but not so quickly - they have to go to Arsenal next and 13/2 is perhaps about right. Don’t take it, but go for Everton at Bolton instead, 7/4 with Stan James.

I hate Eurovision, but I hate Andrew Lloyd Webber even more
I can’t stand Eurovision (but I still watch it), but the real target for my vitriol today is Andrew Lloyd Weber, that arch tosspot who pretends he’s laughing at himself, but you know that he’s really laughing at you. Gaaaah I hate him.

Will Spurs actually get relegated?
Bookies are offering odds of 10/3 against Spurs going down - and that’s a massive drop, indicating that something really is wrong at Three Point Lane (as all opposing fans call it). So will they? All that and all the latest odds from our favourite “bet 10 get 20” bookie.

Here are my tips for the weekend as well as the odds for the China Grand Prix, with Lewis Hamilton 7/2 to win the title this weekend. Back in the football, why not take Wigan to get a draw at Anfield? Or Hull to beat the Hammers. I would, at 2.20 with Betinternet.

Football and the Financial Crisis - the FreeBetBookmaker viewpoint
Could a Premiership club go under? It’s possible - with West Ham tied up with Landsbanki - allegedly - and Manchester United bought up with so much debt. There’s that possibility that Sir Alex could even be seen carrying a cardboard box full of his office stuff.

Another weekend and another raft of intriguing matches - top of the bill is Chelsea vs Aston Villa and I’m also looking at Everton and Spurs who have two home matches that they would normally be able to win quite easily. The Prix de l’Arc - take Zarkava and Vision d’Etat ahead of Duke of Marmalade
I’ve said it before on here, and I’ll say it again - the Prix de l’Arc runs to form 8 times out of 10. And if so, then Vision d’Etat is great - no, fantastic value at 9/1. However, it’s the incredible filly Zarkava that has people believing that this is one of those 2 times out of 10.

The Ladbrokes St. Leger - can Frozen Fire and Look Here justify favouritism?
